Design-Tec Food Facilities Inc. is a professional food facilities consulting firm specializing in commercial kitchen design. The design team has been active as Consultant/Designers in the food service industry since 1981.

The majority of our projects are developed in conjunction with well established Architectural & Engineering firms. Our drawings and specifications are produced as an integral part of the architectural package.

Our contribution to the success of the project is complete in scope and detail. We prepare floor plans, schedules, plumbing, electrical, exhaust, and depression plans along with elevation and section drawings of all pertinent areas. All final drawings are produced through AutoCad version 14 or AutoCad 2000.

Our own proprietary specifications data base is used to prepare and print equipment specifications and budgets on projects. We provide itemized written specifications in detail and ensure those items carry the important approvals such as, U.L., NSF, AGA, ASME, NEMA, NEC, NFPA, etc.

Design-Tec has expanded capabilities to meet our clients' deadlines and schedules. We have an extensive background in food facilities design, specializing in public schools, hospitals, in-plant feeding, penal institutions, and military installations.

Design-Tec is not associated with any other firm or organization. We do not buy or sell equipment; cater or purvey food. We do not engage in any other business other than design and consulting.
